Fire Investigations
Anchor has built a solid reputation worldwide by realizing the importance of a timely, thorough, well-supported investigation that can be proven with expert testimony in a court of law. It is our goal at Anchor to provide quick responses to loss sites, a verbal report to the client within 24 hours and an initial report within 14 days. If the evidence remains, our documentation and analysis will provide the client with the inofrmation for potential liabilities, subrogation, risk exposures and incendiary causes.
To ensure quality of product, we require that all Anchor fire investigators be qualified in origin and cause investigations. The investigators in the Anchor Fire Investigations Division understand the ramifications of an incendiary fire cause. The benefit of the doubt goes to the scene. An incendiary determination of cause must be supported by physical and witness evidence. Otherwise, it is undetermined. When Anchor Investigations determines a fire was set, the evidence will be there.
Our fire investigators have the experience and the assets to continue the investigation to the next level. Anchor investigators and our lab partners can expertly identify, analyze and document all evidence. Our laboratory partners have state-of-the-art equipment and are staffed with experienced engineers and chemists.
As former public officials, we are trained in interview techniques and neighborhood canvassing. We realize that the investigation does not end with an incendiary fire cause. It is only the beginning. Anchor is also able to follow paper trails, utilizing computer searches and the tried and true methods of courthouse record searches.
Anchor has the expertise, resources and investigative talents to take a file from assignment to the courtroom.
